Justin Rains
Portal Planet was formed in 2001 by Justin Rains. Portal Planet was started to help small businesses with their digital marketing to drive traffic to client websites. Located in Elsmere, KY Portal Planet is close to just about everywhere in the Cincinnati area (Newport, Erlanger, Elsmere, Cleves, Mason, Loveland, Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Harrison). Coding and teaching others has always been a passion of mine. I have been past president of clubs such as the Small Business Owners of Northern Kentucky (NKY), and Kiwanis. I have also presented at the Northern KY Chamber and at the Kenton County Library several times. I also helped run the Python study group and the NKY makers and Coders meetup groups.

I am an experienced website developer with over twenty years of coding and entrepreneurial experience. I founded my own company, Portal Planet, in 2001, and am passionate about helping businesses succeed online. As a skilled WordPress website and plugin developer, Alexa skill developer, and Raspberry Pi/Arduino developer, I enjoy teaching and training others and helping businesses achieve their online goals. My wife Sheila and I live in Elsmere, Kentucky with our cat and dog.
